Ce io physical evidence of the object siznted has been reported. No in rharception

Comments of Preparing Officer:
1. Oitizens of Las Vegas, Nevada, should be familiar with the espearance of jot
oe aiccraft, dua to the pilot training prozram at Nellis Air Force Base. However,
eppearance of aircraft at alstituda differs greatly. from anoearance in air traffic
pattern during landing or taxeoff. At a speed of 600 miles per h wry am aircrafts
mould move only ten miles from overheed in one minute, or to a position less than 12
miles from the observer, if at a altitude of 30,000 faet or loss.
2. itis impossidvle to ascertain the positions of the jot type eirerart roported
by Nellis Air loree Base at “aa time of the sighting, as ey. a Lid not file mute or
plan or flight, and could have been anyrhere in tho local flying area. (Approxinately
within 100 miles of Las V ozas)
3e infornasi ion probably was transnitted through Ios Anveles Air Routa TrafZic
pro nip Centar (CAA), to Mareh Flicht Service Center, by Las Vegas iTGAC (vie CAA
